AI4Gov partners were at the Global Conference on AI and Human Rights taking place between 13th and 14th June 2024 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The conference was organized from the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana under the patronage of UNESCO. Within the 2 conference days, more than 240 participants were involved.

Colleagues dr. Tanja Zdolšek Draksler and dr. Alenka Guček were participating within the Panel “AI and governance”, presenting the AI4Gov project.

The Conference was opened by Urška Klakočar Zupančič, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, followed by welcome remarks by Gabriela Ramos, Assistant Director – General for Social and Human Sciences of UNESCO, keynote address by H. E . Ambassador Marc Nicolas, Jean Marie Bichler, Permanent Representative of Luxembourg to the UN in Geneva, and introductory lecture by Marko Grobelnik from Jožef Stefan Institute.
