University of Nova Gorica (UNG) and UNESCO Chair on Open Technologies for OER and Open Learning at the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) organized an Open Education Design Workshop, which took place from July 1-4, 2019 in Lanthieri mansion in Vipava, Slovenia.
During the 4-day workshop, the participants were introduced to open educational concepts, pedagogical and didactic issues as well as content related issues in open education.
Main track titled Course for Practitioners equipped the participants with practical advice and hands-on experience on how to prepare their own design of Open Educational Resources (OER). They learnt from OER experts and OE4BW mentees who presented their projects.
Second track titled Energy, Society and Open Education was a multi-stakeholder panel discussion that brought together representatives from the energy and educational ecosystem, including industry, research and policy-making.
Third track titled Industry Day provided answers on how OER can help in current challenges in companies and human resource management.
